Pelatihan Penggunaan Mendelay Bagi Mahasiswa Dalam Penulisan Daftar Pustaka Karya Ilmiah Di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UISU
Abstract
Academic problems often faced by students in writing scientific papers are the lack of ability to compile a bibliography that is in accordance with scientific principles and the low utilization of digital technology to support the writing process. This reflects the challenges in building an honest, structured academic culture that is in accordance with Islamic scientific values that emphasize intellectual responsibility. Training on the use of the Mendeley reference management application was held to answer these problems, involving students of the UISU Mathematics Education Study Program. The training method used combines an interactive lecture approach and technology-based direct practice. The findings show that the training has a significant impact on improving students' digital literacy. As many as 92% of participants stated that they now find it easier to write citations and compile bibliographies automatically and consistently. This shows that the use of Mendeley not only simplifies the technical aspects of writing, but also encourages a responsible scientific attitude. Discussion of the training results led to the importance of integrating technology in Islamic academic learning, because it supports the development of transparent, plagiarism-free science, and in accordance with the principles of scientific honesty emphasized in the Islamic intellectual tradition. This training contributes to strengthening contemporary Islamic epistemology through the use of ethical technology that is oriented towards the benefit of science.
