Author Guidelines
Jurnal Abdi Pendidikan dan Sosial Masyarakat (JAPSOM) is a scientific journal that publishes the results of community service activities across various academic disciplines, including education, social sciences, economics, health, environment, technology, and other relevant fields. This journal is intended for researchers, young lecturers, students, practitioners, and community activists who are engaged in community development and empowerment activities.
JAPSOM is published every four months (three times a year) and implements a double-blind peer review system to select articles for each publication edition.
Jurnal Abdi Pendidikan dan Sosial Masyarakat (JAPSOM) accepts original community service articles relevant to the journal's focus and scope, and also welcomes review articles, best practice reports, case studies, conceptual articles, and letters to the editor related to community engagement.
Manuscripts may be submitted to the editorial board under the following conditions:
Manuscripts must be original and have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
Manuscripts must be written in proper and formal Bahasa Indonesia.
Manuscripts must follow the journal’s specified format and structure, including title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments (optional), and references.
Articles must be submitted through the journal's online submission system on the official JAPSOM website.
Authors must adhere to the ethical standards of publication, including proper citation and avoiding plagiarism.
Manuscripts will be subject to a rigorous peer review process and authors are expected to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
Jurnal Abdi Pendidikan dan Sosial Masyarakat (JAPSOM) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang mempublikasikan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari berbagai bidang ilmu, termasuk pendidikan, ilmu sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, lingkungan, teknologi, dan bidang terkait lainnya. Jurnal ini ditujukan bagi peneliti, dosen muda, mahasiswa, praktisi, serta aktivis masyarakat yang aktif dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan dan pengembangan masyarakat.
JAPSOM diterbitkan setiap empat bulan sekali (tiga kali dalam setahun) dan menggunakan sistem peer review double-blind dalam proses seleksi artikel untuk setiap edisi penerbitan.
Jurnal Abdi Pendidikan dan Sosial Masyarakat (JAPSOM) menerima artikel hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang relevan dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal, serta menerima artikel tinjauan pustaka, laporan praktik terbaik, studi kasus, artikel konseptual, dan surat kepada editor yang berkaitan dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
Naskah dapat dikirimkan kepada dewan redaksi dengan ketentuan berikut:
Naskah harus merupakan karya asli dan belum pernah dipublikasikan atau sedang dalam proses publikasi di tempat lain.
Naskah ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar.
Naskah harus mengikuti format dan struktur yang telah ditetapkan oleh jurnal, meliputi: judul, informasi penulis, abstrak, kata kunci, pendahuluan, metode, hasil dan pembahasan, kesimpulan, ucapan terima kasih (opsional), dan daftar pustaka.
Artikel dikirimkan melalui sistem pengiriman daring (online submission) pada situs resmi JAPSOM.
Penulis wajib mematuhi standar etika publikasi, termasuk mencantumkan kutipan yang benar dan menghindari plagiarisme.
Naskah yang dikirimkan akan melalui proses review ketat, dan penulis wajib melakukan revisi berdasarkan masukan dari reviewer.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
